The Chef
Rishi Naleendra, a celebrated chef from Sri Lanka, gained international recognition through his culinary journey from Melbourne’s esteemed institutions to prestigious Australian restaurants. He made history by becoming the first Sri Lankan chef to secure a MICHELIN Star at Singapore’s “Macalister Mansion” and later achieved further success with his restaurants “Cheek by Jowl” and “Cloudstreet,” which showcased his fusion of Sri Lankan and Australian cuisines, culminating in Two MICHELIN Stars for “Cloudstreet” in 2021.
