Good news for Westies—Bukit Batok West Hawker Centre is now open! Located at Block 469 Bukit Batok West Avenue 9, this new food spot sits on the ground floor of Harmony Village @ Bukit Batok, a community for seniors.
With 22 stalls serving up a mix of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Western, Vietnamese, and Vegetarian dishes, there’s plenty to try. A standout is Eng Kee Chicken Wings, a local favourite that’s been around since 1989. The hawker centre has over 80 tables and 400 seats, so there’s lots of space to dine comfortably.
Run by the Fei Siong Group, the centre is designed to be spacious, well-ventilated, and accessible for all. It features high ceilings, large ceiling fans, and a central tray return point. Utensils are cleaned on-site, while plates and bowls are washed elsewhere and delivered back several times a day.
One of the biggest draws? Meals start at just $3.20, making it a wallet-friendly option, especially for seniors and those used to pricier food court meals. While many are excited about the lower prices, some diners hope the portion sizes will be reasonable too.
Open daily from 7 am to 10 pm, the hawker centre is expected to attract not just nearby residents but also food lovers from Tengah and beyond.
