Candlenut is the first Peranakan restaurant (mixing Chinese, Malay, and Indonesian influences) to earn a prestigious Michelin star. Their menu offers a variety of bite-sized dishes, with an impressive range of up to 100 different combinations.

The Chef

Malcolm Lee became the first Singaporean to receive the Miele Guide Scholarship, which allowed him to study at the At-Sunrice Globalchef Academy, enabling him to delve into his Asian culinary heritage. As a Peranakan, he aims to honor his cultural roots by presenting a menu at Candlenut that skillfully combines traditional and inventive Peranakan flavors.
