Lo Hey Seafood: A Nod to Old-School Glamour at One Holland Village

January 15, 2025

With the closure of Thambi Magazine Store, Holland Village may have said goodbye to a piece of its history, but the cultural beat goes on with the opening of Lo Hey Seafood at One Holland Village mall. This seafood restaurant brings a touch of Cantonese banquet elegance, recalling the nostalgic allure of Hong Kong’s golden cinema era.

A Theatrical Dining Experience

Opened by Keith Kang, well-known for the Yang Ming Seafood zi char chain, and local restaurateur Reuben Chua, Lo Hey Seafood is inspired by the glamorous old-school theatres of Hong Kong. The restaurant itself is designed to mimic an old-school theatre, complete with menus and private dining rooms styled like luxurious lounges.

Seafood Selection with a Personal Touch

True to the style of Yang Ming Seafood, Lo Hey allows guests to select their own live seafood from tanks, ensuring freshness and personal preference in every dish.
