At ANTO – Pizza e Aperitivi, the focus is on celebrating Italian traditions through exceptional food and drinks. This cosy spot combines the best of Italy’s iconic pizza-making craft with the relaxed vibe of aperitivo culture. From wood-fired classics to innovative creations, every dish is a reflection of authentic flavours and meticulous attention to detail.
Antonio Brancato, the founder of ANTO, grew up in Pignola, Italy, where he was inspired by the artistry of local pizza makers. This passion led him to create a dining experience that honours Italy’s culinary heritage while inviting guests to enjoy a slice of its vibrant culture.
Adding another layer of authenticity to ANTO is the expertise of Giancarlo Mancino, a renowned bartender also from Pignola. Giancarlo, the founder of GiancarloBAR Ltd. in Hong Kong, is the creative force behind iconic brands like Mancino Vermouth and Rinomato Aperitivo. His collaborations with ITALESSE, UrbanBar, and House of Negroni reflect his dedication to elevating the art of aperitifs, a tradition he helps bring to life at ANTO.
Beyond its wood-fired pizzas, ANTO is also a tribute to the beloved Italian custom of aperitivo. For Antonio, this tradition is more than just a pre-meal drink; it’s a moment to pause, connect, and savour life’s simple pleasures. Paired with Giancarlo’s expertly crafted aperitifs—like a spritz or sbagliato—the experience feels unmistakably Italian.
Oven-baked tomatoes, fragrant garlic olive oil, and fresh basil come together on crisp bread to create a bite of authentic Italian taste.
Fried dough topped with rich tomato jam, creamy soy, and a refreshing mint reduction for a perfect balance of sweet and savoury.
Creamy lemon zest butter, savoury Cetara anchovies, and the delicate touch of caper flowers create a bite that’s both refreshing and steeped in tradition.
Whether you’re sipping on a latte in the serene cafe or enjoying cocktails under the warm glow of the restobar lights, this is a spot that adapts to your every mood. Perfect for brunch dates, casual hangouts, or just treating yourself to good food and even better vibes.
