Jordy Navarra, a talented chef with experience at renowned restaurants like The Fat Duck in England and Bo Innovation in Hong Kong, draws inspiration from his Filipino roots to create dishes that reflect the country’s diverse flavours. From classics like Kamayan to bold creations such as Kilaw and Siomai Rice, every plate at Toyo Eatery tells a story of the Philippine’s culinary tradition.
Beyond serving delicious food, Toyo Eatery values sustainability and community. Jordy prioritises local ingredients and supports farmers and artisans, earning him recognitions such as the Flor de Caña Sustainable Restaurant Award in 2023.
Toyo Eatery’s rise has been swift, entering Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2018 and climbing steadily since. Now at No.42, the restaurant continues to garner praise for its dedication to quality and innovation.
Jordy Navarra’s impact extends beyond the kitchen. As the only Filipino chef featured in the upcoming documentary series ‘Chefs Uncut,’ he’ll share insights into his journey.
